Groupe SEB received the 2012 Human Capital Award
On June 26, in Paris, Groupe SEB received the 2012 Human Capital Award for its initiative to improve the employability of its employees. The jury also honored it with the Special Jury Award in recognition of its Human Resources policy as a whole.
Created by the newspaper Le Monde and the international recruitment firm Michael Page, this annual award — highly regarded in France — celebrates the accomplishments of large French companies in the area of Human Resources.
This year, the Award, previously reserved for companies in the CAC40, was open to enterprises with more than 20,000 employees. Six different Human Capital Awards were handed out, covering six major themes.
The "employability policy" award given to the Group rewards its training efforts, in particular its program to improve the competencies of low-skilled workers.
The jury also gave Groupe SEB a Special Award for excellence in Human Resources policy.
